She does me.. except that she only fights for right, the extreme rightwing of the low-information zealots that wish to keep women pregnant and barefoot, so to speak; real men armed and ready to kill at will; and children uninformed and innocent of any knowledge about the realities of sex, protection, contraception, evolution, and human-caused global warming.

So welcome to the bizarre comic book world of Palin and the crazed limbaughtomized lunatics who believe that they have found their Wonder Woman in this pitbull hockey mom wearing lipstick. It sure comforts me to think that W squared is on the side of right and the new American way of keeping targeted groups ignorant and oppressed, while paving the way for big oil, huge corporate profits at the expense of everyone else, and well.. just more of the same ol same ol.

Meetings have begun to start planned a Food COOP in south austin. The first meeting was attended by over 30 people. It was a general brainstorming session to see what people were interested in. Discussion took place over the benefits and drawbacks over a food buying club or a storefront, types of COOPs, and what it might take to get such a project off the ground. Representatives from Wheatsville COOP and Black Star Pub attended to give advise.
The next meeting will be at Davine Foods, 1412 West Oltorf on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 3pm.
